Refractories are minerals and compounds that are burned and stabilised at extremely high temperatures. Refractory materials have the ability to retain their physical shape and chemical identity when exposed to extreme temperatures. This quality makes these materials very suitable for the application in industrials kilns and process plant furnaces.

Refractories are heat proof as well as shock proof, literally, but also as a result of temperature fluctuations. There is wear and tear, corrosion and erosion due to liquid metals and their agressive nature.

V.V.C. designs and produces also a serie of dampers for temperatures up to 1200°C. This according to our experience or following the specifications and needs of our customers. Features :
